L2L offers an opportunity for you to fund your own therapy without asking for help from external sources or feeling as though you can not afford it.
Therapy sessions can start from as little as a small donation to the L2L workshop cause.
Here at lumber 2 living we are on a mission to provide people who are struggling through life in whatever aspect that may be, Stress, Anxiety and especially Mental Health to find a new way of life by using alternative therapy. Our therapy is a hands-on approach to getting to the "reason why" you have been suffering out in the open by talking to one of our counsellors in our wood workshop or Fashion workshop. we believe that in working with your hands rather than your mind, you will begin to feel at peace talking about anything that is troubling you.Everything living deserve another chance at life and that everything happens for a reason, no matter what that reason it may be a life is worth living.
Patients come to lumber to living to escape from the stresses and repression of life challengers. Many people feel they just need a break or help to find what is missing, many are stagnating in life because of past traumas, work and environment related stresses and fancy learning a pathway out of the rat race of life and into a journey of self discovery.
If you are unhappy with you, others or what is around you, it will always lead back to you. No matter what you change around you externally, you only have yourself in the end. Learn about you, the real you and where ever you are, in any situation it will make sense.
Lumber 2 Living found that we are formed by society to earn a living and state their currency in life. We are shown from children that working will give you money that will provide you with security and happiness in society. Working for most is not enjoyable, its a day to day slog to survive, whether that is to keep others around them happy or to keep themselves rich in distractions from themselves.
Lumber 2 Living found that the foundation of internal knowledge is easier to learn when you strip the external stresses away for a moment while doing something that inspires and relaxes you.

Lumber2Living is a rehabilitation workshop in many senses, that provides a chance for people to find their passion and confidence for life, through talking therapy while working with their hands doing something that has always interested them or wanted to try and make. We have changed peoples lives by giving them confidence to know they can again. Everything that Lumber2Living sells goes by to the cause of finding peoples passions in the workshop and in life. The funds generated from sales of what is made by the creators that come to Lumber2Living in the workshop and franchise businesses, will go towards tools, materials, courses, living essentials and therapy.
We rely heavily on the dedicate of the creators to fund their own therapy in the workshop and donations from supporter that give to the mental health course.

Anger management
Anger is the most common form of expression and is a very powerful emotion, which can be harmful both to you and to others around you. It is often directed at those closest to you whether they are the cause of your anger or not, causing family upsets and also problems in social and working relationships.
Lumen2Living explores with you where your anger is coming from, be it in the distant past fight and flight survival reaction, learnt behaviors form many years being exposed to this reaction or something more recent such as grief and work to change your thoughts and reactions around why this form of outlet is your first go to now and give you options to transfer this kind of reaction to a more positive outlet and form of expression.
L2L believes in you if you cant believe in yourself yet, anger can manifest from something that may of triggered you a long time ago, however you are controlling it to never make an appearance again, this can affect you emotionally and physically. The good news is that with a little learning and practice, anger can be turned into a positive emotion, motivating you to achieve a goal or resolve a difficult situation, a force for good instead of bad. Learning to take control of your angry feelings and express them in a health way in your own way and time. We will make you much more calm, relaxed and confident, improve your relationships with family and friends and improve your health, reducing high blood pressure and lessening the chance of heart problems caused by constantly being in an agitated state.
