Your donation will go towards our mission to help people talk to peers and professionals and find a more peaceful mindset to live positively in Great Britain. We provide L2L creators with therapy, supplies and training while developing their purpose in life. Therapy in the L2L workshop leads to more confidence to seek work to support themselves in a job that does not just feel like work, but a way to provide while healing and ultimately becoming a better version of themselves in a second chance of life... worth living.
Our mission is big but our passion in bigger. Our dreams are big for everyone.

Cash Donation
Cash donations pay for courses, professional tools and equipment, specialist therapy services, travel costs, food and emergency accommodation for those that join our cause to improve their lives. Any form of transfer is greatly appreciated weather that may be cash, bank transfer, postal credit, crypto currency, paypal etc, just let us know how we can help.

We are grateful for all tools donated to the workshop. Tools specified for a specific job, can be used to make crafts or even be a craft.
We look for everything and anything... electrical, welding, carpentry, sewing, art etc. new, used, old, broken, rusted or bent. We have a policy that everything and anything deserves a second chance at a new life.

Materials of any kind mean so much to Lumber2Living and the creators with the workshop. Materials mean more creative fuel for the creators, the more they have to work with the more space for inspiration. Working with different materials may spark a passion for a different hobby or even a job. We are happy to accept anything you are willing to give weather that may be wood, metals, stone, glass, fabrics, leather, paints, books etc. in any state. We believe at Lumber2Living that anything can be something again.

The goods can be used for the creators as a repair or upcycling project while they talk to a therapist. Goods and furniture can be in any state working, old, broken, faulty given to those that need the item ergently or if they can be sold to supply the cause vital funds to create and recover while at Lumber2Living.
Nothing goes to waste and we believe everything is worth saving.

Facilitate a Workshop Class
We rely heavily upon volunteers an donation so our creators seeking inspiration and confidence in life can provide themselves with therapy to move forward in life and find their passion to start again. One persons trash is another person treasure and this meterfore goes beyond its meaning in Lumber2Living. You don't need to be an expert in what you do, we are looking for people with life experience and genuine passion for their craft or skill. Any help is gratefully appreciated even if you can only offer for a couple of hours a month - it can make a significant difference to someone or something at Lumber2Living.
Donate a Raffle/Auction Prises for Community
We are grateful for any donations of any kind that can be used at fairs, galas, carnivals and funfairs to support the workshop and its creators with therapy time, materials and tools.
Sell Our Creations in a Shop or Online Store
If you have a shop or an online store and would like to give back to the community or help Lumber2Living to help the mental health course but haven't got a lot of anything to give, offer us your selling opportunities and skills, share our creations and sell something for our creators, spread the word about our course however you can or better still teach the workshop makers how to sell their great efforts by passing on your marketing knowledge and experiences.

Our long term plan
Our long term plan
Our long term goals are to prove a place where people can not just discover a new mindset in our workshop but we would like to expand our cause to a community where we can give a break to those that join us in a better environment, semi permanently while they recover get a job and find a place of there own. Where they can feel safe, continue to improve their way of life and share their success story to be an advocate for Lumber2Living. The goal is to have a big space for more people to receive recovery and intervention.
The goal is to eventually expand the cause to a community, buy some land and build a workshop on it with those that suffer mental health.
We hope for Lumber2Living to be recognised and have a big future advocating mental health in a more practical way. We would like to be as self-sufficent as possible, and rely on nobody but involve everyone.
We would like to keep full control of our mission without having to borrow any money or be attached to a new loan or lender or sponsor or business partner with high and profitable exspectations, we are only open and willing to find anyway to keep Lumber2Living progressing and the people that support it happy and inspired. Then Lumber2Living can be ours the mental health advocates that made it, the people that need it.
